As a result, the plan of care will map out our road to recovery with you in the coming weeks.

PASSIVE & ACTIVE THERAPY

Passive therapy is when something is done to you by therapist.  The treatments we offer at Premier are manipulation & massage, ultrasound, electrical nerve stimulation, laser, ice packs, and hot packs.

Active Therapy is when the patient is involved in the therapy, such as, strengthening & mobility exercises and developing proper posture & muscle balance.

After your evaluation we will create a custom therapy plan that is best for you and your injury!

SCIATICA PAIN

Sciatica pain is caused by compression of the sciatic nerve, a nerve that travels through the buttocks and extends down the back of the leg. This compression creasts a sensation of burning pain traveling from the buttucks down the back sides of your legs all the way to your feet.  A sensation of pain, numbness and muscle weakness is also often experienced.
